LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club is excited to announce its roster for the second annual Alzheimer’s Charity Softball Game tonight at Spitz Stadium as the Hurricanes will take on the Lethbridge Bulls.

Included on this year’s roster for the Hurricanes features eight alumni and two current roster players.

The alumni that will dawn the red “H” are: Cam Braes, Cason Machacek, Mitch Maxwell, Brett Henke, Mike Wuchterl, Max Moline, Corey Lyons and Jason Ruff. While Tyler Wong and Andrew Nielsen will be the two current players to participate.

Last year’s game saw more than 300 people attend the event with $4,000 raised for the Alzheimer’s Society. This year, the goal is have 500 spectators for the event. Gates will open at 6:00pm with a tailgate party in the Spitz Stadium parking lot. Hurricanes alumni and current players, along with the Bulls players will be on hand signing autographs.

There will be a Home-Run Derby at 7:00pm, with the full nine-inning softball game commencing just after 7:30pm.

Tickets at the door will be $15 each. Hurricanes Season Ticket holders can buy advance tickets for $10 each at the Hurricanes Office which will be open until 4:30pm.
