LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club have reduced their roster by three having re-assigned 2000-born forward Josh Tarzwell and defenseman Tyler Strath and Calen Addison following their 3-2 loss Friday to the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Addison, who was selected second overall in the 2015 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft, was terrific in his first ever WHL game scoring a goal and adding an assist in the ‘Canes pre-season opener. The rearguard will report back to Brandon where he will try-out for the Brandon Wheat Kings Midget AAA team for the 2015-2016 campaign.

Tarzwell, who was taken in the second round this spring, will report back to Red Deer where he will try out for the Midget AAA Red Deer Optimist Chiefs while Strath will try-out for the Midget AAA UFA Bisons that play out of Strathmore, Alberta.

The Hurricanes are now down to 29 players on their roster including three goaltenders, nine defenseman and 17 forwards.

The ‘Canes continue the ENMAX Pre-Season on Tuesday evening in Cranbrook against the Kootenay Ice. The Hurricanes also host the Swift Current Broncos next Friday in Coaldale – tickets are available for $10.00 at the Coaldale Food Market.
