 LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced on Thursday that the club has released 17-year-old forward Drayton Thunder Chief.

The Standoff, Alberta product had a strong camp for the Hurricanes. Thunder Chief appeared in two exhibition games with the ‘Canes collecting a total of six penalty minutes with a minus-1 rating.

With the roster move, the Hurricanes are now carrying a total of 28 players including three goaltenders, nine defenseman and 16 forwards.

The Hurricanes continue their 2015 ENMAX Pre-Season on Friday night when they host the Swift Current Broncos at the Coaldale Ice Arena at 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the Coaldale Food Market for just $10.00.
