It was announced last night that Gomer Pyle (Jim Nabors) passed away at the age of 87. For the time, and even up until now, there likely hasn’t been a better TV character. Thankfully there’s plenty of episodes of the Andy Griffith Show and Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. on YouTube.
