Matthew Perry Can't Remember 3 Seasons of Friends

Matthew Perry admits that his addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs during his time on Friends made several of the seasons a total blur for him.

When asked what his least favorite episode of the show was, he told BBC Radio 2, “I think the answer is I don’t remember three years of it, so none of those. I was a little out of it at the time. Somewhere between seasons 3 and 6.”

Matthew went to rehab twice while he played the role of Chandler Bing — once in 1997 and again in 2001.

The beautiful thing about Matthew is that he turned a personal negative into a public positive. He opened a sober-living home for men in Malibu beach called Perry House.

He discussed his addiction last year with The Hollywood Reporter saying, “I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my life and a lot of wonderful accolades but the best thing about me is that if an alcoholic comes up to me and says, ‘Will you help me stop drinking?’ I will say, ‘Yes. I know how to do that.'”
